OAKLAND, Maine – The Thomas College club golf team placed fifth as they hosted the Thomas Invitational on Sunday afternoon at the Waterville Country Club.
Saint Joseph's (ME) earned the team victory out of seven teams as they shot a 297 on the day. The Monks were followed by the University of New England at 310 in second while the University of Southern Maine and UMaine Farmington shared the third spot at 311. The Terriers finished fifth with a score of 327.
The Terriers were led by Ryan Chasse (Fort Kent, Maine) who finished tied for 16th with an 80 on the day. Zachary Gagne (Augusta, Maine) and Caleb Roy (Lyman, Maine) followed tied for 20th as they both shot an 82. Evan Parsons (Woolwich, Maine) finished tied for 22nd at 83 while Matt Jolicoeur (Oakland, Maine) rounded out the team in 24th with an 84.
The Terriers will sit idle until Thursday, October 5 as they participated in the Maine Maritime Academy Invitational at the Augusta Country Club.
