Thomas Places Sixth at UMF Invitational

WATERVILLE, ME- The Thomas College golf team placed sixth in their first match of the 2015 season, scoring a combined 339. Cameron Jackman led the Terriers tied for eighth place, shooting a 75.

Saint Joseph's took the top honors, shooting a combined 298 to finish just one stroke ahead of Southern Maine. The University of New England (300), Maine-Farmington (305), Maine Maritime Academy (321), and Thomas College (339) rounded the remaining six.

Trevor Kitchin was next in line for Thomas, placing tied for 26th with an 86, while Ryan Guevin carded a 91. Bryce Lamontagne and Marcus Johnson rounded out the field with a 87 and 97 respectively.

Thomas will be back on the links on Tuesday, Sept. 8 at the John Queenan Memorial hosted by Saint Joseph's College at Point Sebago Golf Club.
