WATERVILLE, ME - The Thomas golf team competed this Saturday in the Colby Classic.
The two pairings in the event for Thomas were Cameron Jackman/Trevor Kitchin and Sean Twohig/Bryce Lamontagne. The Jackman/Kitchin duo led the way for the Terriers with a round of 76, followed by Twohig/Lamontagne with an 85.
Thomas Spagnola and Eric Giesler combined for a 67 in leading the Bowdoin College to the win.
The Polar Bears had a score of 209 to win the tourney by 10 strokes over Colby (219). University of New England was at 221 for third place.
Chris Gallogly and Geoff Sullivan led the Mules with a 68. UNE's Sam Kinasewich and Jared Melman also fired a 68.
This marks the end of the 2014 season for the Thomas golf team. They competed in five events on the season.
