WESTON, Mass. – The Thomas College field hockey team scored four times in the final 19 minutes to lift them to a 4-0 victory at Regis College on Tuesday night.
Britney Gregoire (Kennebunk, Maine) scored for the fifth game in a row to break a 0-0 tie in the 52nd minute on a goal assisted by Haley Thebarge (Smithfield, Maine). Emily Pratt (Palmyra, Maine) scored her second of the year in the 64th minute before Kelci Faulkingham (Belfast, Maine) and Katie Taylor (Lebanon, Maine) scored back-to-back goals in just over a minute to give Thomas the 4-0 victory.
MacKenzie Oberholzer (Hancock, Md.) earned the shutout win for Thomas, stopping the only shot she face. Hope Winkin took the loss for Regis, allowing four goals on 10 shots.
Thomas will travel to UMaine-Farmington for their North Atlantic Conference opener on a Saturday, September 29 at 11:00 AM.
