WATERVILLE, ME -Thomas was unable to secure a victory, falling to Daniel Webster 7-3 in an American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) hockey contest on Sunday afternoon. With the loss, the Terriers fall to 3-7 on the season.
Daniel Webster held possesion for the majority of the first period. The Eagles fired off 22 shots, while holding the hosts to a mere two. Daniel Webster was able to get on the board four times in the opening stanza, capitilizing on two power play opportunities.
The second period, the Terriers were able to hold Daniel Webster to two goals, while firing 10 shots on the opposing net. Thomas was unable to get on the board however, with the score standing at 6-0 heading into the final period.
Thomas was finally able to get on the scoreboard in the third period, with goals coming Bryce Lamontagne, Eric Morin, and Tom Proux. Michael Hersom recorded two assists, while Morin and Proux also were credited with helpers.
The Terriers will await scheduling for their Central Maine Collegiate Conference (CMCC) schedule for the second half of the season.
