BSB: Terriers Drop Two to Lyndon on Senior Day

WATERVILLE, Maine – The Thomas College baseball team ended their regular season with a pair of North Atlantic Conference (NAC) losses to Northern Vermont University-Lyndon on Sunday afternoon at H. Allen Ryan Field.

GAME 1: NVU-Lyndon 6, Thomas 0

Lyndon picked up a early run in the first, then added another in the third. The Hornets made it 4-0 with runs in the fifth and sixth, the plated two in the seventh to take the 6-0 victory.

Ryan Scepansky (Blandon, Pa.) took the loss for Thomas, allowing four runs on seven hits in 5.2 innings of work.

GAME 2: NVU-Lyndon 12, Thomas 0

The Hornets scored four times in the first and twice more in the second to go up 6-0 early. They scored another in the third before scoring four times in the sixth to go up 11-0. Lyndon added one more in the seventh to take the 12-0 win.

Cody Cousins (Wells, Maine) was tagged with the loss, allowing seven runs on eight hits in three innings.

SENIOR CELEBRATION

Prior to the games, seniors Dominic Esposito, Andrew Kapocius, Connor Rittenhouse, Nicholas Cousins, Darren Forkey and Nick Milne were recognized for playing in their final home games.

Thomas will await official seeding for the 2019 North Atlantic Conference Tournament.
