Terriers Baseball Picked Fourth in Preseason Poll

WATERVILLE, ME - The Thomas baseball team has been selected fourth in the 2015 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) baseball preseason poll. The Terriers received a total of 26 points.

Castleton was selected as the top team in the preseason poll, as the Spartans received a total of 48 points, including six of the seven first place votes.

Husson was voted second with 41 points and claimed the remaining first place vote, while the University of Maine at Farmington came in third with 35 points to round out the top three.

Voting for the preseason poll was conducted among the league's head baseball coaches.

Throughout the next four weeks all seven NAC baseball teams will kick off their quest for the 2015 conference title. The top four teams in the 2015 regular-season conference standings will qualify for the conference tournament, which gets underway Friday, May 1 and will continue through Sunday, May 3.
