CASTLETON, VT – Thomas could not hang on from a 5-3 advantage, seeing their 2013 campaign come to a close in a 6-5 extra-inning loss to Castleton in the fifth game of the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Baseball Tournament on Sunday evening.
WATERVILLE, ME- Thomas could not detain the Colby-Sawyer bats, dropping both games of a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) baseball doubleheader on Saturday. The opener saw the Chargers hold one for a 1-0 win, then take the nightcap 7-3.
CASTLETON, VT- Thomas could not come away with a victory over its weekend trip Castleton, dropping both North Atlantic Conference (NAC) baseball games on Sunday despite solid pitching. The first game went 5-3 in favor of the Spartans, then they completed the weekend sweep with a 1-0 victory in the night cap.
WATERVILLE, ME- Thomas (12-15, 11-3 NAC) had to settle for a split with Husson (14-16, 9-5 NAC) in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) baseball doubleheader despite overcoming a four run deficit in the second game.
FARMINGTON, ME- Thomas was able to take two crucial conference games versus University of Maine at Farmington, defeating them 6-1 and 3-2 in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) baseball doubleheader on Tuesday.
WATERVILLE, ME- Thomas baseball players Cody Vigue (Skowhegan, Maine) and Dillon Emerson (Concord, N.H.) have been selected for weekly honors by the North Atlantic Conference (NAC). Vigue was tabbed player of the week, while Emerson was chosen for rookie of the week.
HENNIKER, NH- Thomas College was able to take to North Atlantic Conference (NAC) baseball games from New England College on Sunday afternoon, including a seventh inning 7-6 thriller in game one and a 13-7 win in game two.
ORONO, ME- The University of Maine defeated Thomas 19-3 on Tuesday night at Mahaney Diamond in Orono in a non-conference baseball matchup. Maine improves to 18-14 on the season, while the Terriers falls to 5-12.
WATERVILLE, ME- Thomas went extra innings to get a 7-6 win over Lyndon State in game one, and cruised to 7-1 win in game two and completed a sweep over the Hornets on Sunday afternoon in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) baseball doubleheader.
WATERVILLE, ME- Thomas was able to come away with a sweep over Lyndon State on Saturday afternoon in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) baseball doubleheader. With the win the Terriers improve to 3-11, while Lyndon drops to 0-10.
WINTER HAVEN, FL- Thomas was able to split a doubleheader versus crosstown rival Colby and earning their first victory of the season. The Terriers fell to Colby 6-3 in the first game, while holding on 4-3 in the second contest, despite a three run comeback attempt by the Mules in the last inning.
EAST PROVIDENCE, RI- The Thomas baseball squad kicked of their 2013 campaign playing a double header in Rhode Island versus Johnson & Whales on Sunday afternoon. The Terriers were unable to come away with a win, falling 6-2 in the first game, then losing 7-6 in the second contest.
