Baseball Picked Fifth

Whitingham, Vt. – The Thomas College baseball team has been picked fifth in the North Eastern Athletic Conference East Division Preseason Coach's Poll as announced by the conference office Monday.

The Terriers received 27 points in the poll and were two points short of making it a three-way tie for third place with conference newcomers New England College and Colby-Sawyer who each received 29 points. Castleton State and Husson both tied for first place with 45 point apiece, while the University of Maine at Farmington and Lyndon College were picked sixth and seventh.

The Terriers will take to the diamond for the first time this season on Sunday March 18th on the road at Johnson & Wales (R.I.) for a doubleheader.
