    Castleton, Vt. – The number two seeded Thomas College baseball team’s 2012 season came to a close on Saturday afternoon with losses to number four Colby-Sawyer and number one Castleton State in the North Easter Athletic Conference East Division Championship.

    Castleton, Vt. - Thomas put four runs on the board in the second inning on the way to a 6-0 victory over Husson on Friday afternoon in each teams' first game of the North Eastern Athletic Conference East Division Tournament hosted by Castleton at Spartan Field.
  • Four Terriers Named All-Conference

    Whitingham, Vt. – Four members of the Thomas College baseball have earned North Eastern Athletic Conference East Division All-Conference Honors. Jeff Richardson and Cody Vigue earned first team honors while Ben Goodall and Joshua Gray pick up second team honors. Head Coach Greg King also earned honors being name Coach of the Year for the second year in a row.
  • Terriers Drop Two to Elm City Rival Colby

    Waterville, Maine – The Thomas College baseball team dropped a non-conference doubleheader to crosstown rival Colby, 4-3 in game one and 8-2 in the nightcap. With the wins the Mules improve to 15-14 on the season, while the Terriers close out the regular season with a record of 24-15 (19-5 NEAC East).

    Whitingham, Vt. – The Thomas College baseball team picked up two of the three North Eastern Athletic Conference East Division weekly honors as junior Jeff Richardson has been named NEAC East Player of the week and freshman Tim Locke has been named NEAC East Rookie of the Week.
  • Terriers Sweep Doubleheader against Spartans on Senior Day

    Waterville, Maine—The Thomas College baseball team recorded two conference wins 5-4 and 11-2, against the Spartans of Castleton State College, Saturday afternoon, on the campus of Thomas College. The Terrier’s pitching was the story of the day as senior Chris Farrar picked up the win in the first game throwing a complete game, giving up four hits, three earned runs, and striking out six. Sophomore pitcher James McLamb got the win in the second game also throwing a complete game, giving up three hits, one earned run, and striking out one. Nate Swahn was the Spartans top performer on the afternoon with one hit and on RBI.

    Waterville, Maine – The Thomas College baseball team dropped both games in their doubleheader against first place Castleton in North Eastern Athletic Conference East Division action Friday afternoon. The Spartans took game one 4-0 and held off the Terriers in game two winning 4-2.

    Bangor, Maine – The Thomas College baseball team split a doubleheader with North Eastern Athletic Conference East Division rival Husson University Thursday evening. The Terriers captured game one with a 2-1 decision, while the Eagles rallied to take game two 5-4 in 10 innings.

  • Goodall Named Player of the Week

    Whitingham, Vt. – Senior infielder Ben Goodall hand been named North Eastern Athletic Conference East Division player of the week as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon. Goodall’s performance on the diamond helped continue the Terriers 14 game winning streak and helped the Terriers move in to a tie for first place in the NEAC East Division with Castleton over the weekend.

    Waterville, Maine-- The Thomas College baseball team recorded two more wins 3-2 and 9-5 against the Pilgrims of New England College, Sunday afternoon, on the campus of Thomas College. Thomas continues their dominance of April as they’re now 14-0 on the month. Senior Ben Goodall was the Terriers top performer on the day with three hits and five RBI’s including one homerun. Lucas Burgess was the top performer for the Pilgrims on the afternoon with five hits and one RBI.

    Waterville, Maine-- The Thomas College baseball team recorded two more wins 9-2 and 5-0 against the Pilgrims of New England College, Saturday afternoon, on the campus of Thomas College. Junior Cody Vigue was the Terriers top performer on the day with three hits and seven RBI’s including two homeruns. Pierce Byrd was the top performer for the Pilgrims on the afternoon with one hit, one RBI and scoring one run.

    Waterville, Maine— The Thomas College baseball team recorded two more conference wins 11-0 and 12-7, against the University of Maine at Farmington Beavers, Wednesday afternoon, on the campus of Thomas College. The Terriers pitching was the story of the day as senior Chris Farrar picked up the win in the first game throwing six strong innings giving up only one hit and striking out five batters. Sophomore pitcher James McLamb got the win in the second game throwing five innings, allowing only one hit, and striking out six. Ethan Jean was the top performer of the afternoon for the Beavers recording three hits and scoring two runs.

    Lyndon Center, Vt.—The Thomas College baseball team recorded two conference wins 11-1 and 7-2, against the Lyndon State Hornets Friday afternoon on the campus of Lyndon State. With the win Thomas upped its record to 11-9 overall and 7-1 in the North Eastern Athletic Conference Eastern Division, while the Hornets fall to 2-16 overall and 1-11 in the North Eastern Athletic Conference Eastern Division.

    Waterville, Maine—The Thomas College baseball team recorded two conference wins 7-1 and 2-1, against the University of Husson Eagles Tuesday afternoon on the campus of Thomas College. The Terriers pitching was the story of the day as senior pitcher Chris Farrar picked up the win in the first game throwing a complete game while only allowing one run on five hits and striking out four. Sophomore pitcher James McLamb got the win in the second game, also throwing a complete game, allowing only one run on four hits and striking out five. Shawn Smith was the top performer for the Eagles on the afternoon recording two of the teams’ nine total hits.

    New London, N.H. – The Thomas College baseball team completed their four game series by picking up two wins in a doubleheader against Colby-Sawyer in a North Atlantic Conference matchup Sunday afternoon. The Terriers downed the Chargers 6-2 in game one and finished the day with a 10-2 victory in the second game.

    New London, N.H. - The Thomas College baseball team kicked off day one of conference play splitting with conference newcomer Colby-Sawyer in a two game bill Saturday afternoon. The Terriers took game one, downing the Chargers 7-5. Colby-Sawyer proved to have a short memory as they bounced back in game two picking up a 1-0 win.

    Mesa, Ariz. – The Thomas College baseball split with Gustavus Adolphus this afternoon picking up a 5-1 win in game one against the Gusties. The Gusties topped the Terriers 10-5 in game two handing the Terriers their third loss of the season.
  • Baseball Picks up Two Wins on Day One in Arizona

    Mesa, Ariz. – The Thomas College baseball team opened up their Arizona trip with a pair of wins Wednesday afternoon downing Concordia (Wis.) 10-5 in game one and then finishing the day with a 7-6 win in eight innings. With the wins the Terriers improve to 2-2 (0-0 NAC East) on the season.

    East Providence, R.I. – The Thomas College baseball team began their 2012 season Sunday afternoon with a pair of losses in a non-conference double header with the Wildcats of Johnson & Wales. The Wildcats took game one holding the Terriers scoreless for a 4-0 win and completed the sweep with a 4-2 win in the nightcap.
