  • Baseball Adds JV

    Waterville, Maine - Thomas College Athletic Director Deb Biche announced today the addition of a Junior Varsity team for Terrier Baseball. The program enhancement will begin immediately with a 16-20 game schedule and a spring break trip to Arizona. “This program enhancement is part of a strategic initiative to continue offering more intercollegiate athletic opportunities while providing a positive experience for all of the student-athletes involved.” said Biche. “Additionally, we view this as a way to continue to enhance the baseball program at Thomas College.”
  • Goodall and Sucy Earn Conference Honors

    Waterville, Maine - The Thomas College Baseball team has two representatives on the 2011 NEAC East Division All Conference Team; junior second basemen Ben Goodall and sophomore utility player Eric Sucy. Coach Greg King also picked up honors as he was named the NEAC East Division Coach of the Year.
  • Terriers Bounce Back to Defeat Farmington

    Bangor, Maine -Thomas College defeated Maine Farmington 11-6 to eliminate the Beavers from the North Eastern Atlantic Conference championship. Led by Ben Goodall’s 3-4 performance, three hits, and one RBI, the Terriers advance to play the loser of a contest between Husson and Castleton.
  • Baseball Stumped by Castleton

    The Castleton Spartans fought to a 4-3 victory over the Thomas Terriers to advance to the North Eastern Athletic Conference Championship. With the loss, Thomas ends their season with a 13-26 record. Castleton will face Husson in the NEAC Championship on Sunday, May 1 in a 12:00 game at Husson's Winkin Complex.
  • Castleton Wins Pitchers’ Duel 4-1 Over Thomas

    Bangor, ME – The Castleton State Spartans took care of business and recorded a 4-1 victory in their opening game of the NEAC Playoffs over Thomas College from Husson University’s Winkin Complex. Castleton looked to their ace pitcher Tyler Erickson to get things started, and the crafty righthander stepped up to the challenge and turned in an impressive complete game, going all 9 innings, allowing just one run on four hits and no walks while striking out 10 Terriers.

    Gorham, Maine – The University of Southern Maine (16-14) bats were busy yesterday as knocked off 27 hits to roll past Thomas (12-23, 9-7 NAC) 23-2 in a non-conference match up. Senior Josh Nickerson went 3 for 3 with a run scored for the Terriers.
  • Baseball Completes Sweep of UMF

    Farmington, Maine – The Thomas College Baseball team (12-22, 9-7 NAC) completed a regular season sweep of the UMaine at Farmington Beavers (5-22, 4-12 NAC) this afternoon in a North Atlantic Conference/NEAC East Division double header. The Terriers won the opener 4-1, and closed out their NAC/NEAC East Division with a 7-0 win in the night cap.

    Waterville, Maine – In the last home games of the season, Thomas (10-22, 7-7 NEAC) loss both games to Husson (21-14, 9-3 NEAC). The first game, the Eagles squeaked by 3-1 while the second game saw Husson run away in the end, 11-4.

  • Terriers Split with Castleton

    Castleton, Vt. – The Thomas College Baseball team (10-19, 7-5 NAC) wrapped up their six game series with the Spartans of Castleton State (14-16, 8-4 NAC) with a split in today’s double header. The Terriers took game one with a 4-1 win against the host team. The Spartans came back to take the rain shorten game two 13-4.
  • Spartans Sweep Terriers on Day 1

    Castleton, Vt. – The Thomas College Baseball team (9-18, 6-4 NAC) was swept today by the Spartans of Castleton State (13-15, 7-3 NAC) in a North Atlantic Conference East Division double header. The Spartans took the first game 13-3, and completed the sweep with a 15-4 victory in the nightcap.

    Standish, Maine – The Thomas College Baseball team (7-16, 4-2 NEAC) played a non-conference doubleheader on the road at St. Joes (16-9-6, 5-1 GNAC) on Tuesday afternoon. The Monks won a pair of pitching duels 1-0 in game one and 2-1 in game two.

    Brunswick, Maine – The Thomas College Baseball team (7-14, 4-2 NEAC East) played a non-conference doubleheader on the road at Bowdoin (13-6, 2-1 NESCAC). The Polar Bears won games, 7-6 in the first and then 12-0 in the second game.

    Bangor, Maine – The Thomas College baseball team (7-10, 4-0 NEAC East) completed the season sweep over Lyndon (2-10, 0-4 NEAC East) this afternoon. The Terriers won Game One 2-0 and then won Game Two 5-1.

    Bangor, Maine – The Thomas College Baseball team (5-10, 2-0 NAC) notched their first and second North Atlantic Conference wins this evening at Husson University in a neutral site match up with Lyndon (2-8, 0-2). The Terriers won both games, in the first match up the Terrier defeated the Hornets 8-7 in the night cap the Terriers squeaked out a 3-2 win.
  • More Changes for Baseball

    Waterville, Maine – The Thomas College Baseball team’s set of double headers against Lyndon have been changed again due to incoming weather. The double headers will still be played at Husson University in Bangor, Maine, but the game dates have been moved to Sunday April 3rd and Monday April 4th, game times are set for 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.

    Waterville, Maine – Due to the weather the Thomas College Baseball team’s games against Lyndon have been moved to the John Winkin Complex on the campus of Husson University in Bangor, Maine. Game times are set for 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. for both Saturday and Sunday.

    Phoenix, Ariz. – The Thomas College Baseball team (1-2, 0-0 NAC) faced off against #12 Johns Hopkins (7-5) this afternoon to begin their Arizona Spring Trip. Danny Burke picked up the loss for the Terriers while Kevin Gillen was credited with the win.
  • Baseball Splits on the Road to Open 2011

    East Providence, R.I. – The Thomas College Baseball team (1-1, 0-0 NAC) split with Johnson & Wales (4-7) in a double header to open their 2011 season. Thomas posted a 5-2 victory in the opener before JWU responded with an 8-7 win in the double feature.

    Waterville, Maine - On Thursday February 17th the North Atlantic Conference announced the 2011 NEAC (North Eastern Athletic Conference) East Division Pre-Season poll for baseball. The Terriers are positioned in 3rd behind defending champions Castleton and runner-up Husson.

The Terriers will kick off action on March 23 against Johns Hopkins in Arizona. For their trip, Thomas has 9 games lined up in the Phoenix, Ariz. area against teams from all over the country.
