Mike Zemrak joined Thomas Athletics in the fall of 2015 as the Assistant Athletic Trainer and was promoted to Athletic Trainer in October of 2019. With this position, Zemrak serves as a trainer for all 17 varsity and club sports at Thomas College.
Prior to Thomas, he worked for Pen Bay Orthopedics in Rockport, Maine, providing services to Medomak Valley High School and Oceanside High School from 2011-2015.
Zemrak is licensed in the state of Maine, a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA), Maine Athletic Trainers Association (MATA), and also is first aid/CPR certified for the professional rescuer.
Zemrak received a B.S. in athletic training from the University of New England in 2010. During his time as a Nor’easter, he worked as a student athletic trainer for the Maine Red Claws, the development team of the Boston Celtics. His responsibilities included attending practices and games, implementing rehab and stretching programs, and diagnosing, evaluating and treating athletic injuries.
While at the University of New England, he was four-year athlete for the Men’s Golf team and a two-year member of the Club Ice Hockey Team.
