Three Terriers Named NAC All-Academic

Waterville, Maine – Three Thomas College student athletes have been named to the North Atlantic Conference All-Academic Team. Junior Cathleen Cloran represents the Terriers on the NAC Fall All-Academic Team. Junior TJ Ellis and Senior Kiley Jolicoeur represent the Terriers on the NAC Spring All-Academic Team. To be honored, a student-athlete must have reached junior academic standing, have competed a minimum two years of varsity competition at their institution with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50.

Cloran a junior defensive player for the Terriers field hockey team; Cloran started 13 of the 15 games she played in and was also named to the National Field Hockey Coach’s Association, Collegiate National Academic Squad.

Ellis a junior midfielder for the Terriers men’s lacrosse team; Ellis saw action in all 15 games this spring finishing with 28 ground balls and seven caused turnovers.

Jolicoeur finished the 2011 season with 34 goals, one assist, and 41 ground balls. Jolicoeur controlled 76 draws and caused eight turnovers. The senior was named to the All-NAC East team for the second time in her Terriers career and was named to the NAC All-Tournament Team.
