Thomas to Accept Donations for Little Wanderers Christmas Program

WATERVILLE, ME - Thomas Athletics will be accepting donations of newly packaged toys and clothing for the Maine Children’s Home for Little Wanderers Christmas Program during the basketball contests this weekend and the ice hockey game on Sunday.

Each year, the Christmas Program at The Maine Children's Home distributes boxes of gifts and clothing to approximately 1,600 financially disadvantaged children throughout the state. It is the only program of its kind that provides new toys, books, games and new, warm clothing to boys and girls throughout Maine.

All proceeds and Donations will be given to the Maine Children’s Home for Little Wanderers Christmas program which provides Toys, Clothing, etc. for underprivileged children. Anyone bringing in donations will receive free admittance to the contests.

Both basketball teams will take on Lyndon State on Friday night, with the men’s game scheduled for 5:30pm, and women’s contest at 7:30pm. On Saturday Johnson State will travel to Waterville, with the men’s game at 1:00pm and the women tipping off at 3:00pm. Ice hockey will host Daniel Webster on Sunday at Sukee Ice Arena with the puck dropping at 4:20pm.
